The commission Jesus gives us in Matthew 28:19-20 is both our responsibility and privilege to fulfill.
Read carefully through the passage and then think about what it means for you and our church to deliberately work together to accomplish Jesus’ assignment. Remember, this isn’t merely theory or information, but to be actively pursued by all of us for Jesus’ sake. We have divided up the passage with room to record your thoughts and ways to engage. This would be a great discussion guide around a meal with friends and family or Small Group. Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” BIBLE TRANSLATIONS:
