Think about it for a moment…what do I actually (really being honest) think I need in my life to truly be fulfilled?
Now, think about your life from God’s vantage point. Think about the plans He has and the things that matter most to Him. What might He think about my list?
Look at this next verse and the think about each of the nine qualities God wants us to develop so we can fulfill His good plans for us.
But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!
Galatians 5:22-23 (NLT)
He has given us His Holy Spirit to make this possible, but we have to be willing to learn and grow so that each becomes more a part of our life. How are your current circumstances positioning you to develop one or more of these qualities?
Take a moment and ask God to help you renew your devotion to become the person He knows you can be!
This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT)
